Cage nuts, floating nuts

Cage nuts, also known as floating nuts or cage nuts, are mostly used in the assembly of switches or computer cabinets, also known as cabinet cage nuts.

The design of the square clamp cage of the floating nut prevents the nut from rotating when locked, thus preventing loosening and correcting the offset of the hole position. The floating nut is more effective for fixing the main body to achieve the strongest fastening function.

Internal and external teeth are usually used with screws. When tightening, the friction is increased to make it difficult to loosen, thus achieving the purpose of preventing loosening.
